Most of today was spent driving from Paris to Geneva.  In the afternoon, we visited a few places in Geneva we remembered from our previous visit.  In this picture, Sara coaxes birds to pick food directly from her hand.
x001428.jpg (17663 bytes) There is a very nice furniture store in the old center of town.  We have a tradition, whenever in Geneva, of checking the price of this table.  Linda discovered it 4 years ago.  It was too expensive then, and, of course, continues to be.
x001435.jpg (31397 bytes) Here's the best toy store in Geneva.  No matter what else we see, it seems to be the high point for Michael to find and explore the local toy stores.
x001439.jpg (18655 bytes) In the past, we've discovered the best value for ice cream to be the local Movenpick.  This will definitely be a place we need to visit a few times before we leave Geneva.
x001440.jpg (36676 bytes) Restaurants are unbelievably expensive here.  Dinner for four at something the equivalent of a U.S. Denny's is $80.  Fine dining three times that.  Fast food combo meals are $8.  This is a picture of the local Wendy's.  Guess where we eat.
x001444.jpg (6500 bytes) Here's a more traditional tourist picture from Geneva . . . the water  fountain in the lake that shoots a jet of water 455 feet into the air, at a rate of 130 gallons per second.
